December 9th was Steven's 31st birthday. It was so much fun for everyone! Steve came home early from work so we could spend the entire evening together as a family. David was excited to show Daddy the birthday presents under the tree, and Spencer helped him open the gifts. We then enjoyed a fabulous dinner that included homemade rolls! Steve requested that homemade rolls become a birthday tradition. "Delicious!" said David about the rolls and German chocolate cake. Spencer was so proud he could spoon his own cake and ice cream into his mouth successfully.
After dinner we decided to play a few games together. David wanted to play train, so the four of us linked hands, and David led us throughout the house yelling "choo-choo" and "all aboard!" David said he was the caboose--he thinks that the caboose leads the train. Then David led us to the couch or his bed where we would have a train wreck on top of each other. Spencer thought it was hilarious too. What a fun way to spend a birthday! We love our Daddy! Happy Birthday!
