March is always a busy month for us. We had visitors 3 out of 4 weekends in March, and we're having more visitors the first weekend of April. Our Burgess Grandparents came the first weekend, the Easthope Grandparents came the second, and Melanie's former BYU roommate Mary Ann and her husband Scott Carter came the last weekend. We love having visitors! March is the perfect time to visit Arizona. It's perfect weather, Spring Training is going on, and if you want you can watch the Mesa Temple Easter Pageant (we didn't this year though.)
We went to a Spring Training Baseball Game with Grandma and Grandpa Easthope, the A's vs. Padres. David and Spencer have seen more baseball games than most adults. They like being up close to the playing field.
We celebrated March 14th, Pi Day 3.14 by eating a lemon pie together, made from fresh AZ lemons from our neighbor's tree. The boys got out their calculators and tape measures to verify the Circumference/Diameter of our pie equaled 3.14.
We ate out at Joe's Farm Grill in Gilbert with Mary Ann, Scott, Jodi and Ryan. It was our first time there. Quite the busy place since being featured on the Food Network. http://www.joesfarmgrill.com// David loved eating in a real Farm House. We're so glad Mary Ann visits us every year during Cubs Spring Training. Go Cubs!
We also celebrated the NCAA tournament and BYU's strong showing by having our own basketball game. Spencer has quite the slam dunk and David's layup is quite smooth. Our good friends the Gammons have two boys the same as David and Spencer. We do temple swaps once a month, and on this particular Saturday in March, all four boys donned their BYU shirts.
Go BYU Cougars!
(Spencer's nose injury came from diving head first out of the sandbox. He's fine now.)

I already miss you and your cute boys! Thanks again for letting us stay with you. Total good times!
Thanks for a fun night even if the cougars lost. Too bad the weather can't be this wonderful year around.
