Anna Alta Easthope was given a name and blessing in the Meno Park, Arizona Ward on Sunday, December 5, 2010. It was a beautiful, warm Arizona winter day. Anna's Burgess and Easthope grandparents flew down from Utah to take part. Uncle Scott Easthope also flew in just for Sacrament Meeting. Saturday evening we saw the Mesa Temple Christmas lights. I love the temple lights in Mesa because it's never cold outside like it is at Temple Square.
We are standing in front of the Manger Scene. The boys loved the big, white Bethlehem star above the stable.
Steven gave Anna a beautiful blessing, and she looked like an angel in her blessing dress. Grandma B. bought her dress at the family store Christensen's, so it has special meaning. We're sure that there were heavenly onlookers on this day, just as the day she was born.
