A Day in the Life of David

David's walking skills are improving each day; although he is still a little wobbly and falls down when he tries to walk too quickly. By the request of family members, here is a short video of David walking down the hall to find his dad who just came home from work.

David also just learned how to climb up on the kitchen chairs. He doesn't know how to climb down yet, but he loves being like the big people and is so proud of his accomplishment. Here is a photo of him pretending to talk on a cell phone. (It's really a calculator that he likes to play with--we wonder where he gets that interest from with a math teacher mother and accountant father.)

Today David didn't want to eat dinner, so we resorted to his favorite food in the world--string cheese. He gets so excited he starts dancing around and waving his arms when we pull it out of the fridge. He has to be supervised when eating string cheese or else he eats too much at once, and we don't want him to choke. (His hair looks funny in this photo because we didn't comb it after his nap.)

After dinner David walked to our digital piano and began banging on the keys--another favorite activity. Steve set the piano on the demo mode, and David had a great time playing and singing along. We think he will become a musical prodigy.
